About 20 of us headed an hour out of Portland last weekend to a supreme cabin on the river. Matilda wanted some new Facebook photos, so a bunch of us took photos of her. Here are mine:
Sometimes I'm amazed at the things I get paid to do. Like earlier this week, the company paid me to make a video of this awesomely talented yo-yoing teenager.
My camera is broken, so I'm resigned to the phone for now. I am intrigued by the way these iPhone apps makes images pretty when they otherwise would not be pretty. I'm in Louisiana for the weekend, also rolling old school with a disposable camera. Yes, I could just not document, but I have the most handsome nephew of all time. The urge is too great!
Anyway, I spent the day in liminal space, remembering different airport memories.
I spent the first weekend of the summer drinking cold brew coffee, playing games, looking at (and photographing and talking to) my cute friends, buying the country's best strawberries, cooking and relaxing.
