The sky is so pretty today.

I spent the morning reading 300 pages of the newest Nick Hornby novel then went on a bike ride and pie-eating adventure with Ryan. The sky looked like this:

Pre-show

I flew out to Chicago for the weekend to see my cousin's band open up for Rhett Miller.

Who dis?

Before I switched to a Portland number earlier this year, I've only ever had one cell phone number. I apparently didn't do a good job getting the word out about the switch: People continuously try to call or text me at the other number.

Without fail, the people who text that number looking for me get this reply:

Who dis?

Only one friend has texted after that. Most others figured it wasn't me. The next reply to her was,

Bree, who dat?

Bree stopped texting at that point, but received another message:

Who u lookin 4?

Vancouver is very pretty. Like Portland, with taller buildings.

Unfortunately, I am not good at taking pictures of inanimate objects.

So you'll have to take my word for it.

On two wheels

Last weekend, Ryan, Flan and I went on a 20-mile bike ride up Willamette Blvd. in Portland. I didn't know it then, but that turned out to probably be the last nice day before Portland enters its months-long gray period. The ride was gorgeous. See evidence:

But the best parts of the trip had little to do with natural beauty. See evidence:

This bike trip also marked the first time I've ever gotten an advertisement left on my bike:
